[New Album] Trance Dreamer Alpha (Coming Soon) + Journaling (a lot)
Ohanidouka! Time to be more active in this little web space of mine! As you know, I've been on a stream break since September 13, but here are some current updates on what's been going on with my life at the moment: a new album, lots of journaling, and indoor creativity!
Trance Dreamer Alpha
I would like to formally announce that I have a new album coming out! Trance Dreamer Alpha is a compilation of instrumental songs under the trance music genre. Most of the songs are based on my old 2007-ish songs, some songs I made during streams, "lost project file songs", as well as original tunes.
My goal for this album is to create a series of "Trance Dreamer" albums that allows me to look back at some of the songs I made before, as well as make new stuff. After all, I realized that trance music is one of the genres I resonate with most (and the genre I mostly started with).
Here's the pre-save page from Distrokid if you'd like to stay updated when it releases! Hope you can listen to it when it drops on Spotify and other major music hubs!
Journaling and Indoor Creativity
As I announced, I am mostly doing indoor activities such as journaling and arranging my art supplies and whatnot. I wanted to focus more on things that I haven't done during my streaming schedules, such as work on other side projects.
More plans come to my mind as I am mostly inspired by organized desks and study setups. I might not be a student or a 9-5 worker but I still want to put up schedules so I can make the most out of my time and do unique things every single day.
Another part of my creativity routine is journaling. This is beyond the journaling that I've been showing on stream - I've also taken a step to use some leftover sticker paper (that doesn't work on our bottomless ink due to being satin/glossy) that I originally intended to use with Sharpie and nail polish.
Like I said above, I wanted to continue ideas that I've somewhat abandoned or postponed, so I finally went with the whole "labels" idea, which I can use for my journaling. I've seen most Shopee shops get creative but I can do my own labels at home, using their content as inspiration.
I don't believe I can turn this into a business yet because I know I have a lot of competition (and my handwriting sucks, I know). I do already have some local clients where I use my "childish art", and even if I can't charge "Manila prices" here, I am very content for now.
One more addition to helping me get less anxious about "not having work clients" or "being broke" is to have a Work Journal (which will be confidential since it contains client information). I started writing on it a few days ago and so far, it's working well. It helps me become grateful for what I have.
Last, but not least, I'm also doing those "ipon challenge" containers to probably help me get funds. I know I might not get a lot of money with my current work situation, but if ever there's extra money, I will put something in there. Wish me luck!
See you in the next journal entry! Otsuverse~
